Who are the instructors of this course?

At least one retired officer and NCO are assigned to each unit. The officer is designated as the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI), and the NCO as the Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI).   

 

AFJROTC instructors are retired military members, but continue to wear the Air Force uniform in the performance of their duties. As such, instructors are required to meet and maintain Air Force uniform wear and grooming standards during their career as instructors.
